Since Knowle West Media Centre began in 1996, our work has been about helping people of all ages make positive changes in their lives and neighbourhoods.

We do this by working with communities to explore how technology and the arts can help us make exciting things happen, come up with creative solutions to problems, and generate new ideas.

Our current projects include training and employment opportunities for young people including photography, filmmaking and design, residency programmes supporting artists to develop their practice, and creative projects working with local people to explore issues ranging from health to housing.

We also run KWMC: The Factory, an award-winning making and training space based at Filwood Green Business Park, that provides access to new digital manufacturing technologies such as CNC routers and laser cutters, and delivers a range of free training courses.

With your help we can continue to provide dynamic, community-driven projects that make a real difference - and expand our work to reach more people.
